I’m Melissa!

I found strength training & Crossfit when I was 19 at University and it quite literally changed my life. After years of running on fumes and trying to make myself smaller by doing hours of cardio and eating very little, it was a huge relief when I could eat to perform and feel STRONG.


I started personal training clients in 2019 in New York City and eventually completed my Crossfit Certification as well as my Nutrition Certification. I coached Crossfit & a Beginner’s Strength course for women before 2020 shut down gyms across the country. After that, I started to work remotely as a nutrition coach with clients at PhysioRX in Brooklyn.

In addition to working as a trainer, I’ve worked in many corporate environments, including at NYTimes Cooking (I also love cooking & food!), NYPublic Radio & in FinTech. I studied classical music & business at University and I’m not the trainer who expects you to spend your life in the gym. I know what it’s like to struggle balancing your health & your schedule. I know exactly the challenge having work dinners and social events can bring for a busy professional.

I love helping clients create achievable goals and helping them to adjust their behaviors and skills in order to achieve those goals. Fitness & Nutrition should be simple and sustainable. Never restrictive.

In my free time, I love lifting weights, running near the lake, training my husband, traveling around Europe, trying new (vegetarian) recipes and finding the best ice cream in every city.
